There were a lot of great entries last month. Let's keep the momentum going in November.

hi ya and good morning panmanmatt ---thanks for the congrats
yes that is one of my seahorses---i have 5 swimming around right now--they are such interesting creatures to watch---i'm in the planning stages of setting up a 60 gal hex tank for them---they develop their own personality's and the ' snicking ' noise they make when they eat , to me, is fascinating--just being able to sit and watch what goes on in my tanks is very relaxing

I agree, they are fascinating creatures. Hex tanks are nice, but their biggest draw back is lack of surface area which leads to poor gas exchange. Of course if you are running a sump, this will help eliminate that problem.

One of these days we must get together and talk about your set up. I would love to see some pics of it.

congrats - would love to see a FTS!

A 60 hex -the dimensions are... 27 1/4 x 24 1/8 x 29 1/2?

I read that they need a taller tank in order for them to properly perform mating rituals...so seems like a good choice to me since they don't need the side-to-side width most tanks have. Are you using a chiller for them? Curious what your temp is like...

hi ya---just wanna say' thanks ' for the votes and the congrats---sure would like to see more images posted for the POTM contest---
