What kind/how many watts of light do you have on the tank? What size is it and what kind of protein skimmer do you have?

i have a 10 gal sps aquarium have a 15k 250w aquamedic pendant that is suspended about 15 inches above... have a cpr bakpak 2R skimmer

just a week ... bought a couple of different ones but this is the only one that is turning brown.... should i put it up higher so it can get more light????

If it has polyp extension and seems otherwise happy I'd personally probably leave it where it is for a week or three and wait to see what happens when it settles in. I'd be surprised that it would lose its color so soon after entering your tank if it were the proximity to the lights. Any before/after pics to share with us?

yup! i see it still has polyp extension... ill take pics tom...how long will it get settled and the color to come back.
