CT FARMERS FRAG MARKET 3/1, anyone going?

I will be there. My 4th show I think.
First, you get the normal vendors you get at our local RAP in New Jersey (NY)…and since they are NOT being charged a lot for a table, they can work with you on prices.
Second, you get the small time feel. Everything from the hands on coordinators running things in Jon Brian and all the wonderful volunteers including students, to the intimate setting in each classroom and hallway.
Third, since they don’t charge an arm and a leg, you get reefers who aren’t normally vendors attending and selling things they grew out at home to pay for their hobby and spread the corals. THIS is what I like…
Pick up $5 and $10 corals that would normally be $40-$50
And the Raffles.

To compare and contrast this to RAP, Frag Market is more like an old school frag swap. Meaning that some vendors but also a lot of basement type fold come out and setup tables to sell corals. As eric said, they don't charge a lot for booths so you get a massive variety of people selling and you can easily find some cheaper corals. RAP will have the biggest manufactures and other vendors that you won't see at a smaller meet like this but it all depends on what you are looking for. They both are awesome.
So we've been a vendor at the FFM for YEARS, It is by far my favorite frag swap/show. If you haven't been there imagine an entire high school dedicated to the hobby with 3-4 vendors in every class room but the hallway full.
Definitely worth the trip if you are up for a bit of a ride.
