So I have 2 of these that I had on my 40b when I started. They were excellent. Programming is easy as heck. You can sit back and hit some 'fun' buttons once in a while, via the remote, while watching the tank - such as turning down the room lights, hitting the 'storm' effect button, and playing an audio of a storm through computer, ipad, whatever. Or, just sit on the couch and mess with the actinics via remote, then add cloud effects. They were quite interactive and fun.

Had some great zoa and paly growth under them as well as LPS explosion on a hammer. Didn't have any SPS at the time.
Lighting transition is smooth, not a drop from say 30% to 10% at 8pm as many other lights, but a very smooth drop from 30% to 10% over a 30 minute or so period.

Would have continued using them in my new tank, but tank is 48" length and, contrary to the Current USA claim that these fit a 48" tank, realistically they can fit up to 40-42 with coverage. Was going to buy the next size up but got an incredible deal on some Mazarras so had to go there.

I bought them about 11 months ago and used them for 4 months. 1 unit is in pristine condition. The other has a minor cosmetic crack which is not visible and does not effect performance, otherwise it looks and works excellently.

Originally I paid $200+ per unit. Now they're down to about $170 new. I'll do both for $200 (with 2 power supplies, ramp timers, remotes, etc). If no interest here, going to put them up on ebay/CL next week.

Just wanted to bump this. I saw the LEDS have now dropped to $160 each on Amazon.
I just listed them on CL for $200.
Anyone here want's them I'll do $150 for both.
Need the cash to finish up current tank before new baby comes (want to get a contained sump (Eshopps r100 or r200) and a cabinet 48x24).
Saying that, I'm willing to trade for either and throw a bit of cash in to balance things out if required.

Also found a shot of a single one on a 40b from a while back when I was painting, pretty sure this was set at 70-80%...

LOL still. Just re-opened the post and thought 'it's like looking at baby pictures'.
