Dagnabit!

Gone for a few days and come home to a bunch of dead corals! All the SPS are white. Lost a real nice Hammer with 5 huge heads. A quick look at the params show that things look normal. Fish are OK.

This hobby will drive you nuts!

I hate to hear these stories (having quite a few myself!) It makes you wonder if things like this are inevitable in this hobby.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Ack. That sucks. I'm almost dreading my vacation in august... (Think I can get my 90 gallon in the back of an SUV and take it along for a week??? ;D )

Sorry for your losses Marcelo. I really hate when that happens.

I recently had a major loss too of 75-90 corals so I feel your pain. At least for me I know why it happened (electrocusion) and have taken steps to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future. In your case it's worse since you don't know the reason.

Are the dead corals bleached white or partial white?

Are there other corals in the tank that survived?

Were there any fish in the tank? If so are they ok?

You said you took a "quick look at the params". What did you look at/test?

Any chance you might have lost electricity while away? A change in temperature could do this and you wouldn't be able to tell from a param check as everything would look normal now.

Any new algeas or colorations in the tank?

Are all the powerheads working?

Something had to do it. You might have to look high and low to find the problem.
