Devils fans?

Huge Devils fan here and I know there's a few on this board, just wanted to vent a little bit here.

I am completely disgusted right now, losing Rafalski to the Wings sucks but Gomez going to the Rangers of all teams? Man that one just hurts! I basically just got over losing Neidermeyer & Stevens and now this?

We have this great new building this season and this team as it stands right now will not be a winning team. They NEED to sign a few guys and with the cap space they've got now there's no reason to start spending the money.

The cap is the problem. Losing Rafalski isn't to bad. He's getting older and the game is much faster now with the new rule changes. Losing Gomez is going to hurt though, especially losing him to the Rangers. There just wasn't enough money to sign him.

I have faith in the Devils front office and their system. They'll get through this and the Devils will be in the playoffs again next year.

Well, things are looking alot better this week for Devils fans. We might have gotten even better then when we had Gomer & Raffy. (close, maybe not better) plus they still have alot of cap space left

Signing Karel Rachunek = ehh, not bad, not spectacular but not bad
signing Dainius Zubrus = very good pickup, should fit right in
signing goalie Kevin Weekes = should be great as a backup goalie
signing Vitaly Vishnevski = I like this signing alot, our D was looking very weak and although we really need some more scoring help from our D, Vishnevski is a great stay at home defenseman who can dish out some serious hits

signing Brent Sutter as head coach = PRICELESS

he brings a great offensive philosophy plus he's great developing the "kids" so Parise, Zajac, Clarkson, etc should all flourish under his guidance
