DIY Calcium Reactor Schematics??

I did some searching but I havent found exactly what I am looking for... Im looking for a step by step instruction on how to make a Calc reactor out of PVC.... I understand that the size is pretty much up to me but I would be looking to build one that could handle 140 gallon water volume... Really and tips or instruction would be appreciated as I am really hoping to build one myself to save some money

Thanx

The Club did a calcium reactor build at a meeting a three years ago. Here is the first post in the thread that links over to the RC thread with the instructions. I would highly recommend reviewing that thread and then NOT DOING ANY OF IT! I think we built 5 reactors that day. They were huge and leaked like sieves. We used ours for about a year and never had any luck with it.

You may be able to find better plans but I would steer away from these. Feel free to post up your ideas and I'll be glad to let you know if they were things we tried and whether or not they were successful.

Easy solution here, contact one of our vendors or wait for a group buy and theres the "saving yourself money"
comes with insrtuctions and if you needed help more than likely someone on here has or has used the same reactor and can help answer questions, unlike with a DIY

Thanks for the honesty John... Im gonna take your word for it and pass up on the RC write up... I would deff like to learn more about these group buys and speaking to vendors... Obviously there is a lot about this forum I have to learn...
