Diy nopox dosing

So I've been dosing this for 8 wks now and I haven't seen any change in my nitrates. As I've stated in my tale of the tank all lives stock does look good, we'll except for the little bit of sps I have, they are doing worse. My nitrates hang at 50ppm while my phosphates swing from .25 to .03. The mixture I am using is 375ml vodka, 125ml rodi, 500 ml white distilled vinegar. I dose 10ml daily figuring I have slightly under 100g of water. I understand it takes time but I was running a bio pellet reactor for arounded 4 months prior. Any suggestions? I've also bumped my 10g weekly water change to 15g.

That exact mix does wonders for me. I actually dose nitrate to avoid being zero with that mix. What test kits are you using for nitrate and phosphate and what skimmer?

My test kits are from Salifert and my skimmer is a reef octopus classics into 160 space savior. This is a wk of skimming.

A wk after I started dosing my rbta and corals all looked so happy and still do. So the mix has done wonders for that.

Sure the kits are not expired? I would make the skimmer run wetter. Nopox requires wet skimming to work. Also was the tank set up with live or dry rock?

Live rock, lots of the rock is original when I first set up 12yrs ago, then I added some more around 6 yes ago that was old live Rick found in my buddies crawl space, I obviously had to let that cycle before adding it. The test kits are still good at least according to the yellow sticker date on top of the boxes.

I would add good bacteria such as Dr tims or brightwell mb7 to make sure you have the right bacteria for the process. And I would get a second opinion on the test results.

I have been adding special blend every two wks, but I think it's time for change, I'll order the mb7, and next time I get to a lfs, I'll bring some water. I also check nitrates with an api kit, I know it's junk but I test twice a week for nitrates so it saves me a couple bucks on test kits I've had same results with that.
