that looked like a bit hectic setup on melevsreef but i doubt a "normal" reefer would have THAT many to worry about.

i'm just looking for more outlets and safer/cleaner and easier to turn off things and being individually turned off is ALOT nicer than shutting down a whole surge protector.

amazon.com as mentioned, just be aware the 4 plug one the back plugs aren't straight out they're kind of angled up, the 8 plug one is straight back. Don't have one but read alot of stand build threads where people didn't realize the 4 plug was angled & it caused some modifications to the build.

the melevs reef link was two fold.

One to show how someone was using them, and two to indicate that he is using a GFCI in addition.

Agree it looks a bit hectic.

ha i love that. i haven't taken any pictures of my build until i finally finish my rock work. i should be getting my acrylic rods in this week by friday then build it over the weekend.

I use one and it's great but I have to say they are pretty badly made. I have had one outlet fail and one switch come loose. Not a quality product, I hope they don't use them at the nuclear plant.

I have two of them, and like em so far. Lots of control. makes shutting just pumps off a heck of a lot easier than digging around for cords to pull!
