Does anyone have a spare QT tank?!

Hey guys I really need some help right, as many of you know I'm leaving to italy in 4 days.. Tomorrow is the Manhattan reefs fall swap and about 2-3 different people told me that they already fragged corals and will bring them tomorrow to the meet to give to me so i can start my reef off.. Here's the problem.. My tank is in it's 3rd week of cycle and here are the params:
Amm - .25 (might be lowered, hard to distinguish the colors perfectly)
Nitrite - .05-.0 (Very very hard to tell if its 0 or .05 because they colors are so close)
Nitrate - 12.5 - 2.5 (High - Low Range)

All the coral I'll be getting will be basic stuff like kenya tree, zoo's, etc. (Not even alot at that, maybe only 2-3 frags)

So do you guys think I should just throw the corals into my 40breeder? Or I thought of another idea if anyone happened to have an extra 10gal or 5gal, a powerhead (small), and a mini heater, that way I could maybe just get a timer and set up the tank for a few days till I'm back (the 15th) which by then the tank should be ready? This would be the ultimate favor and in return I will defiantly give the person frags of whatever i get in the future, and if I have any money, defiantly that also. Remember, i only need the tank for like a week or so and I will defiantly repay you, please and thank you to all who are reading, Anthony.

I am Union Beach and have a few spare tanks. A 15g long, an acrylic 5 or 6g, among others.

Don't know if you know this, but there is a product sold in most LFS thats called Bio-Speria. It's an instant cycle. Myself and many others have used it for years and added fish and corals to our tanks the next day. No bad effects.

can't you wait untill you come back? There will always be corals out there! I'll give you some xenia and zoas if you wait untill you return. Just contact the guys and explain what's going on, they will understand! :D

This hobby is all about slowly moving forward, don't rush it.

Just my respectful opinion.

The other option is to find a fellow friend reefer close by who could hold them until your tank has finished cycling.

I would personally find some one to hold them for you. The first few weeks when a coral is in a new tank is the most crutial.

Adding anything new to any tank, be it your display or a QT, just days before leaving for vacation is just asking for trouble. Your best bet is to hold off on the corals until after you get back. Just explain your situation to the folks you will be getting the frags from. I'm sure they would understand and not mind holding them for you or fragging more for you when you get home.

Well the big critical part of this is that I don't drive and everyone whos giving me stuff is from about 1-2-3hours away in deep new york, etc. So this would be like the only time in the year, if ever, that I meet up with them.. I asked alot of people to hold them near by but everyone tells me they are scared of pests on the corals, etc.. i guess I'll have to take my chances =/

I would use the bio-spera and put them in the tank since they'll be the first corals (& no fish) you're not risking that much. It would be a different story if yor tank was established and fully stocked.
