Does Anyone remeber the SW club called Windows to the Sea

I was a member about 10+ years ago. I remember going to a fellow named Jerry's House in Metuchen. Had an impressive fish room in the basement of this huge home. Anyone?

Never heard of them, but a quick search found that they hosted MACNA in 1991. I did find the following listed address and contact person, but all associated links were dead-ends.

Saturday, 1 to 5. It looks like it will be well attended, a good time to meet a large number of members.

Yes I remember that club. I actually went to a few meetings before the club disbanded, ironically from many of the same issues that NJRC has been discussing lately. LOL

Oh and that was 20 years ago not 10.

I used to go to meeting held in Metuchen. At a fire house or VFW. Not to sure. Can't remember the club name . It was 20+ years ago.

You are correct. it was 20 yrs. Holy cow the years go faster then I thought. Scary.

Drats i got excited because I live in metuchen, and realize this was just smoke and mirrors of a giant tank in this town!!!

The only other guy (from here) that was a reefer quit right when I came to this club. he had all kinds of tanks and stuff in his basement and in his dining room which all had to get broken down as he lost his job and had a growing family. I tried to entice him back in when i was raising the baby clownfish but even then he declined.

In doing a search - i found a lot of links to Freshwater society pages. But nothing recent. I wonder if the new post office box owner in piscataway gets mail for windows? hahah.

p.s do a search on "windows to the sea marine aquarium society" - there are more links from various clubs listing it as a club in NJ. One link is a scuba diver in chicago who listed the club as a place she presented at. Interesting stuff!
