Dumb Canon Question.. need help

I need help and have a question about the RAW Image. When I finished processing and want to save it what compression you guys uses ) 1,2,3,4 Best Image and what pixel/inch do you guys set?.. I have mine on 2 and 180 and seems like after saving it it looks a bit off from the original.. Pls post here on what should I do. I feel like I'm just wasting this nice SLR thanks...

also wim using Paintshop pro to resize it and it sucks anyone have photoshop program I can install thanks

Depends on what you are planning to do with the image. If you are planning to email or use it on the web, I would recommend to resize the original image to fit within one screen and go for the best image or the highest setting.

If you want to print your image in any shape or form, then do not resize;
