While rearranging my rocks for the final time, :, I pulled out a piece that had a Hawaiian feather duster attached. Deeper in it had also attached itself to the tanks rear wall. The duster freaked and ducked deeper into its tube and slipped right out the back.
Their it is now, laying on the bottom of the tank and I remember reading a thread about that is usually it for the poor duster! Then the clean up crew starts marching over to do their job!!
I took out the Duster fast and put it in a bowl of water. Then took the discarded tube and cut it down some, the neck part was smaller diameter, and eased it back in. It would only go back in a 1/2 inch, looked like it was all puffed up. But!! Within minutes it started working its way deeper in. I placed it into a hole within my new rock display last night and this morning, nice open happy duster!!!
Wanted to share!
