I plan to do a blackout on my reef tanks tomorrow for earth day. I figure it might not make a big difference, but it might help a little. Anyone else want to contribute?

I'm in! It wont hurt the livestock anyways!
It's not always bright and sunny on the reefs anyways!
Time to unplug the light timers!!!! :eek:

Of course then we cant look at our tanks cause the lights will be out. ???

Me too. I've had a fixture out for 3 weeks, guess I won't fix it tomorrow!(busy procrastinator ::)) I actually do lights out every so often anyway for 1-3 days, don't ask me why. LOL

I was and not afraid to admit it! Gosh my tanks look awfully dark... does opening the curtains count as doing our part to light up a reef?

Good idea Mike - lets save on our electricity use today.
