The funny thing for me is that I was watching TV and running it through the surround sound system, and I heard a low B-O-O-O-M and thought, "Wow, that subwoofer really kicks butt!," and then the sofa vibrated for about 10 seconds and I said now wait a minute...and I noted the time, for reference. The other thing is we are so close to Picatinny Arsenal that there are booms coming from there pretty often, just not at night. If at hd happened during the day I wouldn't have given it a thought.Phyl said:It was funny because around that time here there were salt trucks going through (!?) before snow even started and it was startling. Probably not as startling as the earth moving. Did you actually FEEEEL it? Or just hear about it? Did the water jiggle?
