Patent challenges are not that uncommon. If the article is correct, the patent that is the basis for the challenge was considered already, and was not found to be sufficient to deny ecotech. i don't do patent work, my only dealings with the uspto are tm related, but you had better believe i will be pulling what I can about the challenge tomorrow
