Ecotech is friggin insane

Their pricing has always been high, but selling mounting systems as 'modular' is, as the Brits say, 'taking the piss' (aka taking ridiculous advantage to the point of stupidity).

For me to arm mount, if bought new in pieces...
$266 for 2 mounts, thats nuts.

OR, just buy a full unit for $110, so only $220 (+ tax and shipping) for 2 mounts, still adding up to the $250-260 mark.

Now, I just picked up 2 used mounts for $80.
Unfortunately the 'mount bits' are for X30s, i didn't know better and thought they were for X15s.

So I need to go buy 2x of the new mounts for $55 and possibly 2x adapters for an additional $24, still putting me at least $140+ for 2 mounts (with the major parts bought used).

This is like buying a friggin car then paying extra for the tires, and the engine...oh, you want doors?

Rant away!! I actually sold my Radions when BRS did the ecotech take over because I wanted nothing more to do with them. I am sure they are premium lighting but WOW. $1,000 for a light?!? Come on. Amazon black boxes, Noopyche, T5s are all under the 200 entry point. The only real thing they are missing is the bells and whistle features of the app. I honestly didnt think they did anything extra ordinary on the lighting themselves. But what do they say.. a fool and his money??

If you have the the major parts, all you need would be these to convert the xr30 to xr15s.

the gen5/6 stuff works with all gens. so don’t think you have to find specific gen 3 mounts.

Not your fault J, just venting.

Salt, I was going to run a 3D print but the problem is the degradation over time of the materials if constantly damp or exposed (especially) to salt water. PLA is the basic plastic made of cornstarch. There are some more durable plastics like ABV that are a PITA to work with, and the spools are expensive.

Everything you have will work with the XR15 other than the X mount piece. Try ordering this, it should work
