I need help! When it comes to electronics, I don't know what I'm doing. A power supply I use crapped out, and upon investigation I found the transformer wasn't putting out any juice. The company wants $190 for the entire power supply, but I only need a new transformer, that I've got to believe is $10-$20, or less.
The transformer core (metal block), measures 3 3/16" high (81mm), 3 13/16" long (97mm) and 1 3/4" wide (45mm), and appears to have double wrappings.
There are two primary wires entering at the top, and two secondary wires coming out of the bottom.
The only label was this:
I've searched the model number and "transformer 120V 36V," and can't seem to find the one I need. I have been directed to transformer companys, but they then want me to put in information that I don't understand.
I know we have electronics folks out there.....can anyone help me on this one.
Thanks, Paul
