Feeding LPS

When feeding LPS do I need to put the food right on them or can I just turn off the powerheads and put it in there general area? I'm not to worried about the fish eating all the food as they aren't the most agressive eaters. Just looking for some input.

I would say for most of them you would actually have to spot feed them. You really shouldn't have to do that more than two or three times a week though.

Idk if I just always over fed, but I always just gave myself tank problem with spot feeding. I dont spot feed anything now. ducan started at 4 heads now is over 30(took prob over a year) acans grow fine also. Feeding them will speed up growth but just watch how much you feed if you feel you have to.
