Been reading a lot about it lately. Anyone have the word on the final verdict?

Good? Bad?

Anyone have a mod kit or modified pump they are selling?

Looking for something to push 1200+gph but I dont have a lot of cash.

(Hence the 100 different posts on flow options for my tank!) :)

By the time you bought a kit and a pump you could just buy the Hydor. Definitely a case of penny wise and pound foolish, IMHO. We have parts and parts and parts, and (up until recently) had one working pump out of 4. Recently the shaft that the prop is on came loose on that 4th (and only working one). My money's on the Hydor.
