FISH -Need Help and advise please...

I was in the LFS awhile ago and saw this nie Sohal Tang about 10" including the tail. I ask if it came from the wild and the guy said it was pulled from another reefer's tank cuz of harrsing Morish Idol. He is beautiful and chunky lol...For the past 3 months I wanted to add fish on my 180g Mixed reef and I have aquired Powder brown, Sohal tank ( both 4" in size) also added 4 lyretail and 3 wrasses. The tangs and the lyretails never made as they were being harrass by my Blue Hipp ( 6-7" ). My current stocklist for fish Blue Hippo 6-7" , Tomini tang 4", Foxface 4", marrone clown 3" and 3 Blue green Chromis...

Now for my question...

Do you think he is too big on my 180g?
Is it a good idea to get that fish as they are classified as dominant?

Thanks and info is appreciated..

That's a big tang Steve- Are you sure you wanna risk the two of them battling each other?

I am not sure if they will get along...The guy doesn't even know the chances either..

Here he is from my cell phone camera

He is on the Show Side.... But on my first post I got one that is like 4-5" right before my B-day ( august) and it only last less than 2 days in my tank :(.....

Guess I will be passing on this fish. He was selling it for 300.00 but since I am a regular customer will let it go for 200.00 ....

Well, lets see. You want to put a large 10" tang, of s species noted for being extremely nasty, into a modest size tank (for a 10" fish), with a lot of other tangs.

I'd say you will quickly end up with a single large tang in your tank.

Yes, I know it's a fantastic looking fish, and in a really large tank might be a great addition, but I recommend you avoid it. I saw that species of fish in a large public aquarium and they looked fantastic, and I thought "I have to get one of those for my tank." I looked into the matter, and found out that it was a poor choice.
