Fishing Charter (Pt. pleasant/brielle area)

Alright, I've asked this before, but I'll ask again.
I'm getting married towards the end of may. I'm on a tight time frame, but I think me and a few of my friends are going to go do some night fishing (bluefish I'm thinking) a couple of days before. Beer, friends, and fishing what more is there. Since there will be like 10 of us, can anyone recommend a good night party boat? Anyone been on the Norma K?

Everyone's probably going to crack up laughing now, especially since I'm not known for my fishing skills. 2 years ago my entire family went for night blues on the NormaK, and between the 4 of us, we caught over 50 fish! I actually quit half way through because my arm was SO tired of hauling these nippy beasts in. We had a blast, and I'd do it again in a flash.

I have been on the NORMA K II a few times! Had a Great time everytime.. would also do it again and again!

Sold the Big boat and the smaller Boat had a little fire, uuugg, may be a bit.

looking for next Friday. I think drunk will work, I know how those party boats can get you. It sounds like I'm missing a good story from merv...care to share?

30+lbs sounds like a blast. I wanted to go do some offshore fishing but we have a group of around 10.

OK been checking on the fishing scene, Big Striped Bass have just moved into the area.
3 reports of 20-40 lb bass off Manasquan.
Not off shore, they are caught within a mile of the beach in 20-50 ft of water feeding on Bunker. You my want to look into a private Charter that Targets Bass. I do not have a recommendation for a vessel, but with some research their are plenty available. Maybe 1, last Lady Charters out of Shark River/neptune/belmar

greg for some reason I didn't even see the bass charters when I was looking. I must not have looked in the right spot. I was trying to find a charter for about 10 people, and most of the "private" charters were 6 people so we were thinking just going on a party boat. Plus with this late notice on a holiday weekend I'm not sure if I'd be able to get a good boat for bass. Either way I'm thinking bluefish or strippers...i mean stripers will be a good time.

Believe me I've thought about weather. I told my fiance that it may rain next weekend and that would ruin my fishing trip...and she asks what about during our wedding, my response was I have no idea I didn't bother to look yet...I can deal with some wind, I was out the other day and it was gusting 25+...fun for the knees.

Long story short; Tim is a friend of a friend and I did house plans for him and his wife. I also live in Point Beach and have been on that boat since I was a child.

I went out with 5 other people on the freespirit this past Sunday. Caught Drum up to 82 lbs. There's drum being caught everywhere from what I heard in the bays.

On May 15, I caught one off a jetty in Longport, NJ. 57 lbs 8 oz. Video link is located in the Open water section.
