Flow or Pressure rated for return pump ?

OK if you had a to choose between a flow pump or a pressure pump for your return what would you choose. Here are the pumps and info.

Flow pump Blueline 40 HD-X External Water Pump 1" in and out 1270gph at 0 head 1080gph at 4ft of head. 130 watts.

Pressure pump Gen-X PCX40 3/4" in and out 1190GPH at 0 head 1140GPH at 3.3' head. 110 watts

This is going into my 180 Reef Tank

The correct answer is..."It depends." In your specific case, in choosing between the two punps you mention, I'd choose the Gen-X. It puts out slightly more water, and uses a little less power. The difference isn't that great though. I doubt you'd see any real difference if you switched to the other pump.
