Frozen food left out overnight

do you re-freeze or toss? Mixed answers found online....what are the thoughts here in NJRC?

I have forgotten so many times after mixing it in a cup and discover next AM. I still poured it in the tank and everyone still ate like pigs.

Now it depends how much we talking about in what water volume. One or two frozen cubes left overnight is no big deal really.

Whats the concern with using it that its bad? I am know expert but ive seen my fish eat kther fish poop and dead fish that I didnt catch right away and they seemed fine

if it was totally frozen and just thawed to room temp, in something sealed, i doubt it would spoil overnight. i'd get it back in the freezer and at least re-thaw and sniff test it before trashing it.

All they can eat fish party at Haus's house! Bring your fish! Perhaps we can dump a cake in the tank for them after?

IMHO its dead fish stuff. In the wild most fish are scavengers. I'd refreeze it, but in better portion sizes for my tank, and use it. I've left thawed stuff on the counter overnight and through work the next day and dumped it in the tank 24 hours later with no problems. But, just my opinion.

It smelled like a party by my tank to be honest! Truth is I’ve re-frozen before after leaving it out at night once or twice with no after-effects, but 6-8 hours at most. When I’d refrozen in the past the only thing I noticed was the cubes had lost moisture and oil but all was good. This time I decided to toss it because it really was just a wet mess after over 24 hours, and I would’ve needed more in the next few weeks anyway. I was just wondering what the consensus here was.
