Funny Aquarium Stories?

Anyone interested in being on a round table podcast 1/6 at 8pm? We're going to be discussing funny aquarium stories. I have a few include one that involved my college roommate, a deceased snowflake eel and a garbage disposal and a personal one that involves a puffer and a siphpon tube.

If you rather not participate but have a funny story worth sharing, I could narrate it for you on the show.

No takers? Someone has to have a good story or two. Still looking for 1 or 2 more participants. A good opportunity to plug the club as well.

I think it pretty funny that we spend 1000's on hardware / corals / fish and most layman are interested in the hermit crabs, snails, astrea stars and bristle worms.

Rich you nailed that one...I was so excited to show off my corals when I first got into them and all my friend did was sit in front of my tank and watch the inverts. Man was I disgusted :-\

Yup, my daughters favorite thing is the tiny starfish hitchikers....she's annoyed she doesn't have any in her tank. Who cares she's got her own tank and a black oscellaris clown.

I've had this scenario happen a couple of times: Someone will come in and look at the tank for 10 minutes and then say "That's really nice. Is it salt water?" To which I'll say "Yes, and everything in there is alive. Those things are all corals". Their response: "Oh yeah, I can see them breathing".
