G Series SOLARIS enough for most corals?

I am debating on whether or not to switch to the G series SOLARIS. The fixture puts out the equivalent of a 250w 20K metal halide for every 1.5 feet. I would be getting a 36" fixture so it would be equivalent to 375w. I currently am running 2-150w metal halides and 4-40w T5's @460w total. However, solaris claims that the LED's put out a higher PAR than the MH because the light is more direct. Will I have trouble keeping SPS with this light? I have a 70 gallon TEC tank. 36"L x 18"W x 26"H. I really like the idea of no bulb replacements and lower electric bills. I can pick up the G series for this tank for @ 1100.00 I am hoping to get $400-$450 for my current light so the upgrade would only cost me $650-$700 (about 3yrs bulb changes). Plus the savings on my electric bill. Please help me decide lol

I have a solaris G series and I love it alot. Its quiet, my electric bill is less, and planes stopped diverting their landings over my house since I switched out my light fixture. Let me know if you have any questions.

I keep everything under it but you have to start all your SPS at the bottom of the tank and move them up SLOWLY or they will burn from too much light. Works great like that now.

OK, so it seems that the G series is more than enough light.. Looks like thats what I will be getting then, Now someone please by my other light ...

I've got a H series Solaris on a 70 gallon Tech and I don't run the lights at 100%. I have all LPS's and I bleached some by running it at 100%. I run the day whites at 80% and the day blues at 90%. I paid $1800.00 for mine before the I series came out. Now that the I series is out you might be able to get an H series for cheaper.

I have not been able to find anyone who still has the H series in stock. I figure I could always upgrade the LED's

i bought ours last march from a group buy i have a 90 gallon i was running 2 250 mh with 4 110 vho's. i had to move everything down due to bleaching. i have monties. acros. polyps in tank everything is growing good havent had any problems with the lights.
