i still use a hand scraper, but i've heard a lot of good things about one called flipper.

Here are the characteristics that I think are important in a magnetic cleaner....and there are a number of choices out there:


1. The in-tank cleaning portion MUST FLOAT. Yes, there are cleaners that once you pull away the outside portion, the inside portion sinks like a rock.


2. It must have a razor blade option. I was fortunate enough to be around when Reef Gadgets were available for your mag cleaners. These were the best, only cost a couple bucks, and were made by a club member!

Juan, here's another picture of it.....quite simple. The scraper portion is actually a store bought item....I actually purchased a second one at HD. It simply has two holes drilled into it. The scraper is held onto the acrylic portion by two nylon thumb screws.....and the acrylic is actually tapped to accept those thumb screws.
