Going to the Poconos

I am taking the family to the Poconos tomorrow, and the directions want to route me through 76/476 philly traffic, which I want to avoid.

I was considering heading up RT 611 in PA, but I am not familiar with this road when it comes to traffic.

Any help is appreciated.
