Good skimmer for a 70g

What would be a good choice for a skimmer for my 70gal tank? I would defiantly want something that is quiet.

if your looking for a HOB, i'd go with a cpr bakpak, they work great for tanks under 75. if your looking for one to hook into a sump you have a few choices but MRC makes a pretty good one

depending on the size of the sump you can use the bakpak, just hang it on the outside of the sump. I know people who use it this way. the same principle applies if you hang it off the tank or sump

Coralife makes a decent skimmer that wont hurt your wallet, you can use it in sump or as a hang on, I'd recommend the 125 model.

I had a 125 on my 75 and liked it. I recently bought an Octopus 150 NW which seems to work a better, it's still breaking in. The Octopus is sump only. Both are a challenge to dial in without a gate valve mod. The Octopus seems to tolerate variations in sump water level better.

I have had great luck with AquaC Urchins (and remoras)
I second the Remora.

I have a Remora as well. I would go with that if you want hang-on-back. The Coralife and Octopus in sump are beeter performers than the Remora HOB. I have no experiece with the Urchin.
