group buy? aquacon.com

Anyone buy from www.aquacon.com ? I am thinking of getting the blue palm coral, orange tree coral, blue zoo's & aquacultured chips acropora ( Looks like crayola that phyl got) Anyone want to do a group buy? They have some nice stuff on there sight. If someone has some frags of the corals local let me know.

After doing some reading on RC it does not seem like a good idea to order from them.

You should consider Dr.Mac's Pacific East Aquaculture. BTW, he is a sponsor.

I did look at Dr.Mac but he doesn't have the blue palm coral, aquacultured chips acropora & orange tree coral and he doesn't have the blue zoo frag just a colony for 200 which is way more than I want to spend on 1 colony. I looked at all the sponsors and no one has the stuff I want. :'(

I found this place. Don't know anything about them, but they seem to have the Blue Palm in stock.

I went to the above mentioned site and it looks like the pink leathers are dyed.When I emailed them they said no but the running color patterns in the foot tell me different.Just my opinion though.

After doing a little more research it seems aquaCon lives up to their name...lol
I did find the blue palm at saltwaterfish.com but they didn't have any info on them, plus after talking to a couple of people it seems they are not a good choice for me at this time. Maybe when I get more experienced I'll try one.

Hey Tom, I think I read something somewhere about that blue palm coral you mentioned. I think they said it might be a colonial tunicate, you'll want to do a search, but I got the impression that is doesn't do well in captivity. It looked really cool, but I don't think it's viable. Hope that helps.
