Hanging a light off wall

I have high ceilings and am trying to hang a light off a wall- outside of light is about 1 ft off wall- inside about 6"- the mounts are 7" (fb)x 11" (ls,rs) apart- anything out there not hideous looking

I used heavy duty plant hangers. They come in various lengths. Just be sure to hit a stud.

@amado suggested the same thing- I don't see how it works for 4 points horizontal

Going to add a shelf above the tank and hang the light from that- Sometimes my brain is slow ( most times lol )

Tv brackets are a nice way to do it. Look good too. This gives you the opportunity to swing light(s) out of way for working on your tank. I’m in the process of making a diy bracket to hold 2 hydra 26 lights using a tv bracket.
