have you seem these lights

Have you guys seen these type of bulbs? they are very powerfull, maybe these can be used for aquarium use. what do you think.

Are the temps on the right the colors they come in? If so the 6500K might make a good coral growth light (though I'm obviously not positive). They would make good grow lights for the fuge, though.
 
I think 6500K is the highest they have so far. They will not produce the shimmering effect that MH lights do... but they are very powerfull and cheap.

I think for a frag tank or large sump these would Rock, even for a tank....

i have 3 or 4 bulbs like this laying around. I got them from my brother in law I don't know what fixture they use. if you get a fixture i'll give you one to try
 
These have a standard base like any other home bulb, yo should be able to get a porcelain base at a hardware store and use a reflector behind it.

I looked at these myself awhile back. Couldn't quite decide, as the colors don't go above 6500. May try this out on my "soon to be" frag tank, just to see what happens. The prices sure seem to have gone up though, since last I looked at them.
