im looking to purchase a new heater, one that has a digital reader of the temperature is within the tank if possible. my current one just has a green/red color combination so i never know if my tank is overheating. i have a 55g so i'm looking for one rated at 100g or so. open to all suggestions or if anyone is selling one ill be at the meet. ive been looking at the Jager Model TS Submersible Heater but i see it doesnt have a digital reader, if none come with a digital reader are there any seperate ones? not talking about a controller although i do intend on buying on in the future i've looked online and all that comes up are controllers

Here’s my suggestion…..never……never…..just trust the controls on a heater to heat your tank. Did I say never enough?
You need to use a controller with your heater to make sure that when it malfunctions….and it will……it doesn’t cook your tank.
I’ve cooked one tank, and that’s what convinced me to go with a controller. There are simple ones that are reasonably priced and ones that are hundreds of dollars. But regardless, you need a controller.
Oh, and one more thing, Jager’s are the best heaters.

Yeah I want the apex controller but its $450 and I have to save up. I don't want to buy a half *** controller only to buy a better one later on you know, I might buy the Jäger for time being until I can buy the controller
Neptune has many options now and the temp probe and heater functions are al the same and you can upgrade the system as you need side note I do not sell Neptune systems so I am not looking for a sale I do use it and the heater control works great
