HELP!!! Woke up this morning to notice my tank water is foggy

What should I do? I woke up this morning and when I went to look at my tank I notice the water was foggy, I checked all the water parameters and everthing is normal. Fish and corals are acting normal and moving like nothing is wrong. Should I wait to see if it clears up? water change?

Give us some tank info. I'm not familiar with your tank.

What size, equipment your running, and anything else you think could help.

My tank is a 72g bowfront with a 20g sump/refugium. I have no grape calurpa only chaeto, I have plenty of snail from reeftopia group buy. The last changes that I did on my tank was replace my 2 maxijets and 1 seio powerheads with 2 koralia 4. I also change my carbon like a always do every 2 weeks. skimmer is running fine nothing seems to be out of the ordinary except for the water fogging.

Water parameters as of 9:05 am

salinity 35ppm
alkalinity 10dkh
ph 8.0 ussually goes upto 8.2 once the lights go on.
nitrite 0
nitrate 0
calcium 400ppm

Snails about 12 turbo, 12 cerith, 12 nassarius

Everything is in check.

Do you have any sand sifting gobies that could get the sand in the water column. Looks like it is some natural event.

What is the skimmer doing?

Smell anything?

How water look now, changes? Darker, Lighter?

I suggest doing a regular water change. It won't hurt anything and if their is something suspect going on in the tank it will dull it down a bit.

Are you running a calcium reactor or kalk reactor? If so, it could be that your calcium fell out of solution. That's happened to us and a few others that I've heard of. There are generally no ill effects from it but it certainly is freaky.

I still can't figure out what it is but this is a good learning experience about having water mix and ready for an emergency water change. Everything seems to be doing well all the corals are open fish swimming around happy... I'm just going to do a water change just in case. it has clear up a little but don't want to take any chances.

I don't have a calcium reactor or kalk reactor. I have been using sechem products to keep up my calcium, alkalinity and PH.
