I live in Millville New Jersey and set up my first S/W tank on 9-11-04, I have Extensive experience in F/W tanks. My tank has completely cycled Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 0 SG 1.022 Ph 8.2. I have DIATOMS GROWING YUCK I guess thats normal?? I am looking for Calupera Algea for my Refugium and Pods to get it going. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

The diatoms thing is the norm. It’ll look terrible for a couple weeks. Use a turkey baster to blow off the rocks and change out your filter material often.
I re-scaped a tank about 8 weeks back and I’m just getting out of ugly phase now.
