I am looking into purchasing a hob protein skimmer since I don't have a sump I've seen a couple online by reef octopus and aquamaxx . I was wondering if any one has any experience with hob protein skimmers and can give me some direction on wat to look for . Or maybe even have one you'd like to sell

I'd love to I am down in keyport regularly cause I work for the police department. I also have my eyes on a CPR aerofuge it's a HOB skimmer and Refugium it's awesome looking but about 300 dollars
I wasn't sure If I read this right so you have an Reef Octopus HOB Skimmer and a CPR Aero Fuge (skimmer/Fuge)? if you do have the second of those two please let me know how it works after you have tried it out for a while I keep eyeing the prices of them on ebay for a low ball price, I check the CPR site it seems like they discontinued the line which Idk why seems like people are always looking for new and compact tools to improve there tanks.
