If your tank is like mine and you need to constantly raise nitrate and phosphate, you will soon relize how expensive and over priced the products are...for nitrate I use sodium nitrate and phosphate I use trisodium phosphate...both can be found in small and very large quantities online.

The search for the website; James planted tank. From here you can concentrate or dilute yourself mixture to whatever you would like. I have attached my current mixture.

even though it says 1ml= .87 I usually find that for whatever reason it’s a bit less...so for this mix I will say it’s 1ml= .75ppm per 50gallons

if I want 20ppm in my 150gallon system, I would need to use 80ml of nitrate mixture to obtain that level.

anyway, it’s very inexpensive and cheap to make this for yourself....James planted tank does the math for you. I just made 2 gallons of this stuff and it will last me some time.anyone who comes by to get some frags you are more than welcome to take a bottle home.

Where did you get the bags from? I was trying to feed more but I just can’t seem to raise my nitrates and phosphates. I’ve been dosing AB+ daily but they’re still not moving.

Just ordered some myself the other day. Not that I know how to use it... I gotta bring up my nitrates too. If you want to bring up phosphates, just feed with Reef Roids, lol.

Very true. I just fed with reef roids and the corals always respond well.
For phosphate I use loudwolf trisodium phosphate.

How is it used? I’ve never dosed it before
Same thing...I use James planted tank calculator. Mix it with however much solution I want and add it to my tank. At first I only needed once every few weeks now I does daily.
