How am I doing so far?

This Saturday is the big day NEW TANK!!!!!!
This is where I stand so far.
I have 60 gallons of salt water ready 2 30 gallon brute cans with a power head an heater

I have about 100lbs of rock that I got from reef rock that's was "cooked" and cleaned sitting in about 50 gallons of salt water with a power head and heater

I still need to pick up something for the cycle DR Tim's or something have to see what aquarium ceter carrys

Still need to pick up 5-6 bags of live sand hopefully tonight.

Bought all new test kits just to play it safe

Is there anything I'm missing I think I got everything in line here

Please note the tank is already a up an running tank just in case anyone was wondering the only good thing about buying my brother inlaws tank is I get all my fish back and most of my coral so it's going to be a great day Saturday to see some old faces :)

Looks like your on the way. Hidden reef is probably gonna be the cheapest Live Sand around. I dont think they sell Dr Tims though, but I have seen it at Fish Factory up the road from H.R.

Doh, just remembered your not in Maple Shade anymore, so those places may be a drive for you.

Not exactly sure the full story, but it sounds like you've got the majority of what you need. Keep in mind, you'll almost always need something.

If the rock is to go in an already established tank or one with fish or corals, I'd recommend adding it over a week or so. Add some, then check for ammonia later that night or the next day. If none, then add a little more, the next day and repeat. This is how I transferred my 44 gallon to my current 90 gallon.

It sounds like you are good to go. If you are like me there will probably be a trip or two or three to Lowes to get those little things that slipped your mind. :) I'd probably start making extra water as soon as you use what you have just in case you need to make a water change.

I admit that I don't have any experience with it but the skeptic it me questions the value of buying live sand vs just seeding your tank with some live rock or just getting a little sand from a fellow reefer. I wonder how much life is really in those bags.
