How do you label frags?

As I am growing my new system (and getting older) I find that I often forget coral names as they move around my frag tank and make their way into the display tank.

Anyone have good ideas on how to keep track of corals?

Name them based on character traits, reward them when they respond properly to their names.
After that, its easy.

I like to use treats. I find they learn faster when rewarded... but honestly I may be the worse. I have the hardest time trying to remember the names. I guess it’s a good thing I pick them for superficial reasons like there looks.

Mrs Sponge has asked me several times to start a scrap book of frags. That way we can put photos with names and document the progress. It’s actually a very good idea. I really should start that up

Get the Aquarimate app. Great way to keep track of livestock, maintenance schedules, etc...and you can set it up for multiple systems. I take pictures of all my coral and add them to the app while I still remember the names.

To much work. Plus names vary. Example: my Chili Pepper montipora coral is also called Christmas tree montipora in some circles.
I try and remember the ones that are my favorites. The rest oh the yellow with purple polka dots, i don't looked cool.
