How to test 105 watt quad pc ballast / bulb is bad

How do I test if my 105 watt quad pc ballast or bulbs is bad with multimeter
This is for my 28 gal cube . Thanks

The best I can do is to point you to a "How To" article HERE for the ballast.

I'd also comment that if still in doubt, and the bulb is more than 6 months old, replace the bulb. It's my understanding that PC bulbs lose their spectra pretty fast.

I agree with this, it's also the easiest way to check, if it still doesn't come on, you more than likely have a ballast issue. It's been about 15-20 years since i've messed with ballasts so i can't remember much about them, but i know someone that can give you an answer to that if you still want to go the testing route.
