I just don't get it!!!

Can someone kindly explain to me why my SwallowTail Angel(Genicanthus melanospilos), a planktivore, is munching on my milli ??? ??? ???

Theres also nothing else in my tank that could do this, Hippo and Yellow tang, 2 chromis, blue headed wrasse, PJ cardinal, flame angel, fire shrimp, coral banded shrimp, a few emerald crabs although haven't seen them lately. Besides the table from Marco's rocks, no rock has been introduced in over 8 months so the idea of a hitchhiker is remote.

I circled the suspected munching in yellow and new growth in pink.

Are you absolutely sure it's the swallowtail?
I think any individual fish, even ones that are "reef safe", can turn into coral eaters. Good luck with it. I'll follow along because I have a watanabe angel, which is in the same genus.

I'm not 100% certain, I have yet to see her near it, the damage takes place at night after lights out. Can there be another culprit, only going after the milli?

How big was your hippo? Mine is approaching 6 inches and really fat, I have already considered finding it a new home due to it's size but my wife is persistent on keeping it thus plans for a larger tank in the upcoming months.

My Hippos had to get pulled from my reef and from what I have read they do end up getting a taste for corals!

Mine are small. Only about 2-3 inches but it was definitley them. I sat there and watched them and now all my corals are happy with them gone.
