I did not want to high jack another thread so I will ask here . I got about 50 lbs of rock from Rafal . He said it should be cured , not sure of the best way to do it.I know nothing good happens fast. It will be going into my 180 system which has about 250 lbs or so in it already, most of it will be going into the sump. Thanks Chuck P & Anna Maria.

Chuck, Clean garbage can a powerhead and a heater. Do water changes every week or so for about a month, check water parameters until the levels are acceptable.

ok thanks BOB I actually saw that on the net , but was not sure. I heard that Mikem cooks it in the microwave but was not sure if he cured it after that.

I think Mike did that to kill what was growing on the rock. It still needs to be cured.
