i need some help, please

im in kindof a jam.i bought a brain and frogspawn and my maroon clown keeps biting small chunks out of the brain and a few tentacles. my hippo is doing the same. then my coral beauty is nipping at the frogspawn. im picking up a tank tonight to set up as a fowlr and plan to do a 20 gal water change in my present tank to use for the fowlr. i need to get these fish out quick but dont want to mess things up. any advice on how fast i can get them in the new tank? my present tank has crush coral that ive been slowly removing each water change and ill use what gets vac out today to put in the fowlr with some new sand. im just in a mess right now and so frustrated i cant think straight. ive already lost 2 heads of frog and im gonna lose the brain if i dont do something fast

It sucks that they are attacking the coral, but don't rush the FOWLR tank because you could kill the fish or rush the setup giving you headaches. The isolation chamber is a great idea, or find someone local to hold onto it for a while.

thats pretty cool! thanks. ill order one in a few minutes.i guess while i wait ill continue fending them off with my turkey baster. i spent most of yesterday standing in front of my tank doing this and it seems like they got the point and are steering clear of them so far today...once i get the fish outi think ill be able to enjoy my tank once again :)...i feel bad cuz the fish that are being removed are the ones my wife picked out. i did prepare her when we got them and let her know a few of them might not work out. but now shes kinda stoked since the fowlr will be her tank with all her rejects as she calls them...lol...i also have a place to throw my xenia now and all the xtra shrooms.
i may just try to make a cage outta egg crate till the cage gets here. thanks again!

That is pretty stange behavior for the clowns, the hippo, but not the coral beauty.
Wonder why your fish have a taste for coral. Maybe there is something else going on?
FYI my CB picked at a few things after introduction but has since figured out what is food and what is not. Make sure your fish are well fed and try the barrier thing.

im pretty sure my fish are well fed, if not a little overfed....my most of the food they eat comes from the docks, along with cyclopeze...the coral beauty isnt too much of a picker and may stay in the reef tank but the hippo and roon need to go for sure. i made a cage with some crat that seems to do the job. there is still plenty of flow through it so i should be ok till the new tank is ready...ive thought there is something im missing too but cant find anything. tank params are all good and dont fluctuate too much. its a pretty healthy growing tank. i feed twice a day, they arent acting stressed. i guess the fish just dont want anything else in the tank...thats ok though, im starting to like the idea of a fowlr
