I don't get it. Today I got my normal PM/Post notification and it wouldn't let me on. When I checked one of my posts as a guest it said moved on. I can't even contact an admin because of the fact it won't let me PM them. The only thing I can think of that I did is post my Sony PSP for sale but I did it in the local sections because I know it has to be reef related in the FS sections. If this is what it was that is crap. Never a notification or anything like that. What should I do I am on RC hours a day learning about stuff.

Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

Matt, I asked a moderator on the forums if I could sell my Olympus C5000Zoom in the photography forums since it was "reef related" and he said no. I guess it was a good thing that I asked. Sorry to hear that man.

Just see if you can change you IP address, or log on from a different computer and then you can set up a new account and PM an admin.
Problem is that I have an assigned IP from Comcast. When I move this month and get my verizon account I will try again. Not to get really civil rights on anyone but that is an abuse of power to just ban someone and not even tell them why. Funny thing is if that is the reason... I am still getting emails about my PSP anyways because they didn't even delete the thread to my knowledge. Honestly because they left the thread I am not even sure if that is the reason why. Ironic thing is I was trying to sell my PSP to help pay for some MH's for my new tank. Just seems kinda absurd honestly. Next time I sign up I will go for premium membership that way atleast they will warn me most likely before banning me.
You would think that they would warn you before they banned you. I understand indiscriminantly deleting posts that went beyond the guidelines, but to ban a regular user's a bummer.

I left saltwaterfish <dot> coms boards for that very same reason. I feel RC is better than some and worse than others. Unfortunately that's where most of the traffic is, which is why I'm there so much. I also really like fragexchange but there's not so much traffic over there (unfortunately).
Bob don't go crazy I appreciate everything. I was just hoping I could legitimately get my account reactivated. I will just wait til I move and and change IP's to register... Well I am told that I was indeed banned on the PSP thing but the reason I read didn't explain a single thing. I was told by the mod that on 5/18 I was contacted for posting it in the FS section which was against TOS and so I agreed and never reposted it. I posted it in the local section which is not against TOS (or atleast not expressed to be). For whatever reason that didn't sit well with them and I was banned. They said I was contacted twice although I never got a second message (the first was back on 5/18). They said I was not notified of the ban because I couldn't read PMs but they have my email on file so that doesn't make sense. Regardless they claim it was a week long ban so technically it should end at midnight tonight so we will see. I am not going to argue over it anymore. I sent my response saying exactly this to the mod that pmed me and I never got an answer back as to where it was posted that you couldn't sell non-reef related items in the local section. Whatever it is over now so if I get access back great if not oh well what can you do.
I myself was banned.... i e-mailed the Admin. ... quite a few times.... NO RESPONSE...! this was after i opened a thred on "Nano-Tanks " i mentioned in the thred that nano tanks are killers of marine life...! so my opinion wasn't allowed any space there after ... and i was Banned .... no questions/response.. just Banned.... so it's intresting that RC goes about it's way in dealing with strong opinions.... so to U "RC"... hope you remember my thread... ? maybe...? RC has tons invested in the promotion/production of Nano Tanks....?......... scincerly, CW.
