IceCap 660

A friend of mine gave me an IceCap 660 + wiring last night just for taking a ride with him up to Elizebeth to pick up a car. ;D Not a bad deal.

He had it wired up to run two T12's. I would only have to change the end caps to run T5's right?

yea thats all you have to do.You can run up to 4 bulb off a 660.

Thanks for that. Am I correct to assume that there is no control over which bulbs are lit or not? I don't think it would matter since I think im only going to add two more bulbs. I think eight would be overkill on my system for now.

If you only want a two bulb setup and you don't see the wiring diagram with the 660, see if someone would be willing to trade out your 660 for a 430.  A 430 will support two bulbs.

And you are right in that the wiring diagram is what it is.  You can NOT only switch on two of the bulbs with a 660....it is all or none.

I currently run an Icecap 660 for four 4 foot bulbs and a 430 for two 4 foot bulbs.  I use the two bulb setup for my early morning / late evening lighting.
