Got this as a "see if it does better for you" freebie. lol We all know those right? Best pic I could get after many attempts. Any ideas? Only a few polyps are still remaining off the skeleton, but it is coming alive a bit under the leds. And...... should I leave it alone, or cut down the dead spots that don't have polyps protruding? thanks guys.

Cod, threw me for a loop, cause it should have mat between each polyp head correct? kinda like a zoa

Looks more like a Turbinaria (cup coral, Pagoda). The gonioporas I've seen usually grow in a more rounded shape.

Jim, even in a round form, it's convex domed, not concave like I've seen cup coral

LOL, for those who know me... I'm a zoanut! I figured it wasn't a zoa. lol Just doesn't have the mat like I thought a Goniopora had. Only has the heads. Of course, it may be ill as all hell too. It's in QT as we speak.
