ID This Please?

Can anyone give me an ID on this. I thought it was a limpet at first but then considered that they have a hard shell. As you can see this shell is soft as it bends over the rock.

Is the shell segmented? If you are referring to the thing in the center of the picture, it may be a chiton or isopod. A closer pic would really be helpful. If you could take a pic of it in a clear glass of water it would be even better.

agree with matt - from your description it sounds like a chiton- but hard to tell from that pic.

I seen one of these in my tank ... early this morning when the lights were off. I wanted to catch it but I was late for work and my camera is at Will's .. So glad you posted this.
