I'll pay someone to drill a tank side panel

My drilling days are over. Anyone up for drilling/carving the side panel of a 55 gallon for me. I will take the risk of a crack, but honestly it's never happened in my circles. It'll be for a 1" or 1 1/4" fitting, I'll look up the drill diameter, I don't know if off hand. I'll pay $20 if that's fair, or I can trade something possibly. I live in Philly, so is there anyone in South Jersey who'd be up for it?

Are you sure the tank is drillable? I was under the impression that most 55s are tempered all the way around.

I don't think they will temp the whole tank. I know they always temp the bottoms of the tanks. I drilled my 55 that I used as a sump and then cut the tank itself 6" to fit under my stand. And that tank was a AGA

you know how to check if glass tempered ? (with polarized glasses, by looking thru them while turning them off horizontal...)

Thanks to Matte for the drilling. This 55g was only tempered on the bottom panel. Some are tempered on each panel. It depends somewhat on the manufacturer.
