If you go to the video, it's a 20sec bit that shows one flatworm floating. Big deal, not much of a video. My science mind wonders if this actually worked what the specific gravity went up to? Was it a hyper osmotic (more than sea water) solution that irritated the afew and led to their demise? Could it have been the excess potassium.....(it's a great way to stop a heart dead in its tracks)? Now afew have no advanced circulatory system nor even a heart so maybe it disrupts the nervous system in some way. Just curious.

This treatment does indeed work, it has been discussed for years. It doesn't harm corals but it can kill most of your fish and getting all fish out of the system is not always an option for most people.
