Japanese Swallowtail Angelfish

Anyone have any experience with or heard anything on the Japanese Swallowtail Angelfish? I have an affinity for angels, but know that many don't coexist with corals well.

They say they are reefsafe and docile. I see one site sells a medium one for $33.00

By the way, after a brief review, this site looks like a good resource, especially for newbies. Stan and Debbie Hauter have an impressive background.

They are one of the few reef safe angels along with the Watanabe and i believe the Bellus angels. They are all a medium sized Angel

I have a Watanabe and love it.

The Genicanthus sp. Angels are all reefsafe.

Lamarks
Swallowtail
Zebra
Bellus
Watanabe
Pitcairn
Masked
Halfbanded

The last three are not easy to come by.

Thanks Guys - that's inspiring info.! Now it's time to keep my eyes out for one of these guys. I do have an ELbei in my tank that I adopted, but he might have to be exchanged.

We have a pair of Bellus in our 180. They are beautiful and thus far very well behaved additions to the reef.

I have a pair of Swallowtails in my reef tank and they are beautiful fish and have never taken as much as a nip out of my corals.
